Interesting tidbit in the aftermath of Clippers' big comeback win over the Grizzlies in Memphis last night from ESPN's Royce Webb:
Those teams:
- Last year's Mavericks collapsed in Game 4 of their first-round series against the Blazers, and went on to win the title.
- The 2002 Nets collapsed in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics, and lost in the Finals.
- The 1994 Rockets collapsed in Game 2 of their second-round series against the Suns, and won the Finals.
Conclusion: Memphis is definitely going to win it all!!! ... Okay maybe not. But the point is that one wacky playoff game doesn't affect a team as much as we'd think.
