It's obvious by now that the University of Maryland's football program is undergoing a crazy transformation.

And now the school is thinking of turning the natural grass at Byrd Stadium into black or pewter artificial turf, according to WUSA 9 (via SB Nation).

Athletic Director Kevin Anderson has been reinventing the program since getting the job a season ago, and it seems altering the the school colors could potentially be next after axing the former coaching regime and eliminating the old uniforms.
