LSU and Stony Brook started game one of their best-of-3 Super Regional series on Friday, and that's when LSU found themselves trailing 2-1 in the ninth inning.
LSU would tie the game in the bottom of the ninth with a home run. They would also hit game-saving, game-tying home runs in the bottom of the tenth and 11th innings, before rain came, suspending action until Saturday morning.
And then, 23 hours after the game started, LSU won the game with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 12th inning and are now one win from the College World Series.
