Tedy Bruschi, former New England Patriots linebacker and current ESPN analyst, thinks Tebow needs to stop being so vocal with the media, according to ESPN.com.
Tebow is the back-up quarterback, and Bruschi thinks he should start acting like one.
On ESPN's NFL32, Bruschi said:
"You need to disappear, okay, Tim Tebow? You're not the starting quarterback, it's Mark Sanchez's team. I want my voice to come from my head coach and my quarterback -- my starting quarterback. That message has to be consistent"
Brushi added that a team needs one voice, and one leader, and that should be the voice of the starting quarterback, no matter what the situation is:
"I don't want all this competition brewing, and every time you speak and anytime you talk about competition or anything like that, you're twisting things. I want one voice. One quarterback, not two."
A former Jet, Damien Woody, agreed with Bruschi, saying Tebow needs to leave talking to the media to Mark Sanchez.
