IndyCar will not race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway next season, the LA Times reports.
Driver Dan Wheldon died in a race at the controversial track in October.
In the aftermath of his death, many argued that IndyCar should never race on high-banked tracks where racers are allowed to go three-wide.
It appears IndyCar has heeded those calls by buying out of the 2012 race.
The circuit will not return to LVMS until at least 2013, if at all.
