The Knicks are off to the best start in a decade after comfortably beating the Heat and the Sixers in their first two games at MSG this weekend.
The best moment: At the end of NY's blowout win over the Heat on Friday, the fans started chanting for Rasheed Wallace, and coach Mike Woodson obliged after this dramatic exchange (video below):
Woodson: "You wanna play Rasheed? You wanna play some?"
Wallace: [nods yes]
Woodson: "Let's go."
[crowd erupts]
After the game, a totally self-aware Sheed said he accepted cult-hero role. But once he works himself into better shape, he could see more significant minutes for the Knicks, and the garbage-time chanting thing will be no more.
This is still one of the better moments of the young NBA season:
