Despite the murder-suicide that occurred in Kansas City today, involving Chiefs player Jovan Belcher, the Chiefs and Panthers will play as scheduled at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, according to NFL.com
Here's the official statement from the Chiefs:
"After discussions between the league office, head coach Romeo Crennel and Chiefs team captains, the Chiefs advised the NFL that it will play tomorrow's game vs. the Carolina Panthers at its originally scheduled time."
The Chiefs and the Panthers will kick off at 1:00 PM.
