Nike unveiled the brand new Air Jordan XX8's yesterday, and the early reviews are terrible.
The shoe, which will retail for $250 is February, has been called "super dumb,""awful," and "the ugliest sneakers I've ever seen" by sports bloggers.
Sneaker fans were even less kind, taking to Twitter and likening the shoe's zip-up design to "aqua socks."
The shoe's major design element — the zip-up "shroud" that covers the outside — is the key point of criticism.
When you unzip them, there is a fairly standard electric-green sneaker underneath and, in our opinion, they don't look as weird when they're actually on your feet.
You be the judge.
