UCLA basketball coach Ben Howland has dismissed Reeves Nelson from the team.
It's been a disastrous season in Westwood, and Nelson has been at the center of it.
He was originally suspended for one game for missing a team meeting after the Bruins lost their opening game to Loyola Marymount.
Then he missed the team flight to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational and was suspended for a half.
After he was joking around on the bench as UCLA lost to Texas last weekend, he was indefinitely suspended.
Now, he's done for good.
It's a long way from being on the cover of Sports Illustrated's college basketball preview a few weeks ago.
