Dwight Howard pulled out of last night's Lakers-Suns game with a shoulder injury — the second time in the last week that he had to come out of a game with shoulder pain.
His season has been plagued by injuries, chemistry issues, and coaching tumult.
He was supposed to be the centerpiece of a juggernaut. The team traded for him with the assumption that he'd be the bridge between the Kobe Era and the next generation of Lakers dominance.
But instead it has turned into a season of injury-hampered frustration.
