The only thing that stood between Phil Mickelson and tying the PGA Tour record with a round of 59 was a 25-foot putt. But the lip on the final hole was unkind as the ball circled the hole and did not fall in. Mickelson was forced to settle for a 11-under 60 and a four-shot lead.
