The first half of Super Bowl 47 was a little dull. The Ravens went in at halftime leading 21-6.
But then Beyonce took the stage, and everything changed. Here performance was dominant, and the energy in the Superdome shot up.
The Ravens kept the energy up with Jacoby Jones' running the opening kick-off back 108 yards for a touchdown.
And then everything went dark, literally, for 34 minutes.
The darkness must have given the 49ers a burst of energy because when the lights came back they staged what looked like could have been an epic comeback. But a couple of dropped passes and penalties led the Ravens to a championship trophy.
