Kicker Lauren Silbermann had a rough day at the NFL Regional Combine yesterday in New Jersey, kicking just two kickoffs before pulling out with a leg injury.
She was the first woman to ever participate in a regional combine.
The 28-year-old played soccer at Wisconsin, and paid $275 to participate in the open tryout. She kicked kickoffs of 19 yards and 13 yards before a quad injury ended her day. She told the AP:
"They certainly didn't go as far as they were in practices, but I tried to work through the pain."
The video of the kick is a little embarrassing, but she was injured so we'll give her a pass.
She was reportedly going to attempt at 60-yard field goal, but didn't get the chance:
