The New England Patriots were one dropped pass away from winning the Super Bowl last night.
Up 17-15 with four minutes left, Tom Brady threw a pass to a wide-open Wes Welker at the Giants 20 yard line.
But stunningly, the ball clanged off of Welker's hands, the Patriots had to punt, and Eli Manning drove the Giants down the field for the game-winning touchdown.
You can probably blame Brady a little for forcing Welker to spin around before the ball arrives. But as Chris Collinsworth said, he catches that pretty much every time.
