A photo of the ridiculously big $200 tip Peyton Manning left for his waiter at Angus Barn in Raleigh, North Carolina made the internet rounds yesterday.
Angus Barn's owner Van Eure was "livid" when she found out about it and "immediately" fired the server who posted it online.
Here's what Eure told the Triangle Business Journal (via SportsGrid):
"This goes against every policy we have. It's just horrible."
Stars, and anyone else for that matter, expect some level of discretion when it comes to their restaurant tipping ways, so this move is not in any way surprising. Restaurants stay in business and popular with their customers for keeping this sort of information confidential, also.
But some poor schlup is now out of a job because he did what just about everyone else would've done.
