South Florida is very much on the annual "bubble" of teams hoping to boost their resume just enough in March to sway the NCAA Tournament selection committee.
And a win over top-25 ranked Notre Dame in the Big East tournament would have gone a long ways towards punching USF's ticket. Instead, USF shot themselves in the foot. Over, and over, and over.
