While playing in a Venezuelan Winter League game, Yorvit Torrealba struck out swinging, and then had some choice words for the umpire. We can only guess that he was upset about a previous pitch.
Well, after some face-to-face yelling, in which Torrealba appears to be doing all of the yelling, he then loads up and smacks the umpire in the face, who was still wearing his mask.
And while Torrealba isn't likely to face any discipline from Major League Baseball, he could still be in trouble here in the States. Umpires are a tight-knit community and don't take to kindly to players that do things like this to "one of their own."
