The three biggest names at this week's Masters Tournament had eventful first rounds. But in the end, they were all clustered close together and in a good position to make a run this weekend.
Tiger Woods was able to overcome some terrible drives and keep his score at or below par all day. Meanwhile, Phil Mickelson lost a ball on the 10th hole which led to a triple-bogey. While not playing at the same time, that left Mickelson six strokes behind Tiger's score through ten holes.
Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy was able to overcome a double-bogey on the first hole and claw his way back to minus-1 to finish the day.
