Baseball fans love to catch foul balls and home runs. And a lot of times, when that ball approaches, fans will do silly things in an effort to secure a piece of leather that can be purchased in the gift shop for $16.99. But there is just something about getting our hands on a ball that was used in a Major League Baseball game.
Well, one fan at the Tampa Bay Rays game last night took his efforts a step further, risking bodily harm to catch a ball. He did not succeed, unless of course his goal was broken ribs...
