The game started off interestingly enough. On the first pitch of his first at bat of the night against the Philadelphia Phillies, 19-year old phenom Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals was hit by a pitch. Cole Hamels would later admit that he did it on purpose.
So how did Harper respond?
After Harper moved to third base on a single, Hamels threw to first base to try and keep the runner close. And when he did that, Harper became the first teenager to steal home since 1964.
