The New York Knicks finally won a playoff game for the first time in 11 years Sunday in Game 4 against the Miami Heat, but it came at the expense of their point guard.
Baron Davis landed awkwardly on his left leg during a fast break play in the middle of the third quarter, dislocating his kneecap. Davis is out for the remainder of the playoffs and presumably more.
This is not for the squeamish, but here's what the grotesque injury looked like:
Just when things started to look up for the Knicks they get yet another blow. Perhaps Jeremy Lin can be back in time for Game 5 on Wednesday?
