Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been banned eight matches and fined $63,000 for using racist language against Manchester United defender Patrice Evra back in October.
Suarez was given a yellow card during the match for the scuffle. He's since denied saying racist things, but Evra was emphatic that Suarez called him racist terms "at least 10 times" during the match.
The English Football Association ruled in favor of Evra today, but wouldn't reveal the racist words Suarez used.
Suarez has a bit of a checkered past. He intentionally used his hand to swat a ball off the line in last year's World Cup quarterfinal against Ghana.
A few weeks ago, he gave Fulham fans the middle finger during a loss.
Under-performing striker Andy Carroll will likely see more time in Suarez's absence.
