Back in December we got our first glimpse of the new Miami Marlins ballpark. But one detail we did not have a shot of was the wall behind home plate. And other than the gigantic home run sculpture in the outfield, this might be the most interesting feature.
The wall is an actual fish tank. And over the weekend, the tank received its first residents.
Amazingly, this is not the first fish tank in Major League Baseball. The Tampa Bay Rays have a large tank filled with Cownose Rays beyond the outfield wall.
